“Thoughts For The Upcoming Year”

This is the time of year we sit down & reflect on the year that has gone by.  We evaluate what we’ve done and how we’ve handled our life’s situations throughout the year.  Then we ask ourselves what have we accomplished and what do we wish we had accomplished.

After this evaluation we tend to plan for the upcoming year and how we will better handle life’s situations and achieve the success we all strive for.

The reason I bring this up is simply because we all want more of something, whether it be wealth, happiness, health or time freedom.  You name it, we all want more of something.  This desire is what will push you forward.  But, realize and remember that this is a full circle desire.  It starts and finishes with YOU!!!

Simply Stated “Success Begins From Within”

I came across a great article and wanted to share it to help you reflect during this time of planning.

“Your World Is A Mirror

 Thoughts For The Upcoming Year

Your judgments about other people say more about you than they do about the people you’re judging.  The reason you can detect the weaknesses and insecurities of others is because you have experienced those same weaknesses and insecurities.

Similiarly, the reason you’re able to see beauty in others because that beauty lives in you as well.  The positive possibilities you see for others are, in many ways, your possibilities too.

It’s very helpful to think of the world outside of you as a mirror.  Whatever you see beyond you in some way reflects what is inside you.

The most powerful and effective way to improve the world around you, is to improve yourself.  The best way to bring real value into your life, is to create real value for others.

What you admire and appreciate and support in others, grows stronger within you as well.  When you seek to understand, you will be understood, and when you listen thoughtfully, you will be heard.

Your world is a mirror, so choose each day to show it your best, most loving and supportive face.  And you’ll be delighted with the face you see looking back at you.

-Ralph Marston

So in closing, start your planning with working on yourself to add true value to someone or something and go from there. Then remember “from those whom much has been given, much will be expected”

It all starts with YOU!

The best of success to all in the upcoming year.  Happy New Year
